Children in care need the loving supports of Foster Parents to help them face life challenges. Therefore, we aim to provide educational opportunities for Foster Parents to expand their knowledge and increase their skills to be able to support each child’s unique needs.

2:00 pm: MCFD & BCFFPA Teleconference for Foster Parents

The Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) wants to recognize and celebrate the hard work of all the dedicated foster caregivers that have continued to offer support to vulnerable children, youth and families across BC. Next Thursday please join the Honourable Katrine Conroy, Minister of Children & Family Development, together with the BC Federation of Foster Parent Associations for a special teleconference to answer questions, and to recognize the incredible work of the sector in these times.
Please join us online on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, for an update and an opportunity to have your questions answered.
